In 2014, domestic tool exports increased by 15% year-on-year, reaching RMB 7.8 billion. Entering 2015 (actually starting in the fourth quarter of 2014), market conditions have changed. Due to the obvious decline in the sales of traditional standard measuring tools, China's tool consumption market has continued to decline in the first five months of this year, but the demand for high-end products is still rising steadily, indicating that the market demand structure has changed. The report analyzes the reasons for the twists and turns in the recovery of the domestic tool market from the macro and micro levels and the countermeasures that enterprises should take. Deputy Director Du Zhiqiang, with the title of “Current Industry Operation Trend Analysis and Thinking”, analyzed the operation situation of the machine tool industry in the first half of this year through a large number of data and charts, and introduced the overall situation of information statistics work in the whole industry.

The Secretariat informed the meeting of the research on the production cost and sales price of some standard products in the tool industry, and summarized the statistics and feedback of the industry monthly report, quarterly report and annual classified statistical report since last year's meeting.
