On-line measurement of sector gears

The gauge is one of the must-have instruments for rigs and workover rigs to measure, display and record hook loads and weight-on-bit. The weight gauge is a C-shaped spring tube pressure gauge. Its amplifying mechanism assembly (calibre) has two key parts: a large sector gear and a small sector gear for transmitting the displacement of the C-shaped spring tube to the hands. The two gears are similar in shape and the machining process is similar. The following is an example of the machining process of the large sector gear, and the measurement of the tooth tip circle size of the sector gear. The figure of the large sector gear is shown in Figure 1 (only some relevant dimensions are marked in the figure) and the material is bronze.
