The Ministry of Commerce announced that some rare metal export quotas for silicon carbide and bauxite will be listed next year.

The Ministry of Commerce issued a notice saying that the export quota for tungsten and tungsten products is 15,700 tons; the export quota for tin and tin products will be limited to 18,900 tons; the export quota for bauxite and silver is 830,000 tons and 5,670 tons respectively; The export quotas for indium are 60,300 tons, 25,500 tons and 233 tons respectively; the maximum export quotas for phosphate ore and talc (blocks) are 1.5 million tons and 680,000 tons respectively; export quotas for silicon carbide, licorice and its products and magnesia They were 216,000 tons, 6,500 tons and 1.85 million tons respectively.

According to the "Regulations on the Administration of Import and Export of Goods of the People's Republic of China" and the "Administrative Measures on Export Commodity Quotas" Applicants who meet the requirements of the quotas may apply through the provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government and the municipal and foreign economic and trade commissions (offices, bureaus), business bureaus (bureaus) or directly to the Ministry of Commerce. The Ministry of Commerce accepts applications from November 1st to November 15th, 2010.
