KSB design and manufacture of the world's largest cooling water pump will soon be settled in China

Two of the world's largest cooling water pumps will soon arrive in China for installation, which were designed and manufactured by Germany's prestigious KSB Group at Yuhuan Power Plant, a unit of Huaneng Power International, in Yuhuan County, Zhejiang Province. Yuhuan Power Plant is located in the Oujiang River estuary along the southeastern coast of Zhejiang Province and east of Yueqing Bay. It ordered a total of eight such giant cooling water pumps manufactured in Germany to form four supercritical 1000 MW generating units, each of which consists of two giant Pump cooling. After its completion, the enterprise will become the largest single-capacity coal-fired power plant in Asia at the forefront of China. It is reported that the total height of these two giant pumps up to 25 meters, the total weight of 130 tons, only its 4600 kilowatts of power on the motor to weigh 50 tons. When operated at a design speed of 300 revolutions per minute, this giant pump delivers seawater at 16,000 liters per second at a 22-meter delivery head. In addition, all parts of the mega-pump that come into contact with seawater are made of high-quality, double-stranded stainless steel to prevent seawater erosion. Germany KSB Group is one of the world's leading pump valve system manufacturers, its products for any kind of fluid transport, in the energy, water supply and drainage, the environment and other industrial sectors have been widely used. The eight giant pumps are actually the largest fluid pump ever built by KSB.
