Gun drill is a more effective tool for machining deep holes, especially small deep holes. Drilling deep holes in the drilling process, chip removal problems are particularly important. According to the working process of the gun drill (Fig. 1), the cutting fluid enters the cutting zone from the oil hole of the cutter bar and the cutter head to cool and lubricate the cutter, and the chip is punched out through the V-shaped groove on the cutter bar.
