Jet Edge, United States Introduces Modular Waterjet Pump

Jet Edge, a U.S. manufacturer of jet thrusters, has introduced the iP36-50 Modular Jet Propulsion Booster Pump. Thanks to this portable, 2500-bar, 50-horsepower water-jet propulsion pump, which is modular in design, it can be installed in tight spaces such as small aisles, ship's nacelles and ballast tanks. The Jet Edge iP36-50 modular water jet booster pump produces up to 1.8 gpm (6.8 L / m) of 2500 bar UHP water for precision cutting, cleaning and surface finishing. The pump is equipped with three modules with lugs. These modules can be stacked for operational and storage savings. The pump's hydraulic modules include electric motors, hydraulic pumps, hydraulic oil supplies, plate heat exchangers and related components to provide hydraulic boost for operation. The hydraulic module also has the ability to adjust the hydraulically-controlled extra-high pressure. The water module of the pump includes intensifiers, attenuators, drain valves, water filters and components for generating ultra-high pressure water. The electrical module includes the electrical components that operate the motor and booster. These modules are connected by hydraulic hoses and cables to separate the modules 3 m apart from each other.
