China's steel industry profit margin has been at the lowest level in the domestic industrial sector

The declining profit level of China's steel industry is in contrast to the rapid development of the industry. The profit margin of sales in China's steel industry has fallen from 8.11% in 2004. At the end of 2010, it has fallen to 2.91%, the lowest level in the national industrial sector. The situation of some large steel companies is not optimistic than the entire industry. According to the National Bureau of Statistics and the China Iron and Steel Association, 7,500 large-scale red metal smelting and rolling processing companies in the fourth quarter of 2010 sales revenue margin of only about 2.8%. On the contrary, in the home appliance industry, where profits have been declining in recent years, it still maintains a profit margin of 4.7%; the textile industry is about 5.2%, the equipment manufacturing industry is 7.2%, and the automotive industry is over 10%.
