The traditional closed-pressure machine body design is divided into three parts: beam, column, and base. The beam is mounted on the column, and the main transmission part of the press is enclosed in the beam body, including the gear, the shaft, the eccentric link, etc.; the column is mounted on the base, and the slider of the moving component is guided by the guide rail on the column to realize the up and down reciprocating motion; It has sufficient strength and rigidity to carry the weight of the whole machine.

These three large pieces are fixed together by tightening bolts and tensioning nuts. In order to make the press work, there is no gap between the beam and the column, and between the column and the base, the tension bolt needs to be pre-tensioned. This work must be lengthened by special tooling, and then the tension nut is turned. At the specified angle, the tightening bolt is tightened.

The split structure is especially suitable for large-tonnage presses. In the past, products were limited by processing, manufacturing, and lifting, and generally adopted a split structure.

With the continuous improvement of production capacity, the design technology is constantly updated. The designers boldly conceived and proposed the design scheme of the overall welded fuselage. That is, the tightening bolts were removed, and the three large pieces were integrally welded and integrally connected through the main ribs. The bed is welded into a unitary box structure. Through multiple finite element analysis optimization, the solution is finally determined.
