Difficult to make use of research progress in the comprehensive utilization of phosphate rock and diatomite

The special geological and mineral assessment project of the Ministry of Land and Resources, which is undertaken by the Institute of Comprehensive Utilization of Minerals of the Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences, “Difficult to use the comprehensive utilization of phosphate ore and diatomaceous earth mines”, takes hard-to-use phosphate rock and diatomite mine as the research object. The ore dressing and purification test, the development of new flotation reagents, and the preparation and testing of relevant applied materials have resulted in sufficient physical workload and important progress has been made.
The researcher of this institute studied the flotation behavior of pure minerals of biotite, determined the technological basis for the comprehensive recovery of biotite from apatite, studied the flotation behavior of biotite under different agents, and reconstructed the agent. A new agent for the flotation and collection of phosphorite biotite was determined; a selective recovery test for apatite was carried out and a comprehensive recovery process for a grinding-first-stage roughing-tailing sweeping-concentration re-election was determined. The grade of phosphate ore was increased from 4.43% to 31.986%, and the recovery rate reached 96.93%; a scrub-centrifugal-calcination test was conducted to obtain a better diatom morphology, and the silica content in the fine soil reached 85%, diatom content exceeds 82%, silica content after acidification and calcination treatment exceeds 90%; Preparation of filter aid iron content less than 1.5%, acid insoluble matter less than 3%, water soluble matter less than 0.3%, reached the food The index requirements for industrial filter aids; Diatomite modified by calcium carbonate and manganese oxide has a lead removal rate of 99.94% and a zinc ion removal rate of 96.17%, which has met the lead-zinc industrial wastewater discharge standard.
The results achieved by the project will help to alleviate the supply of phosphate rock in the northwestern phosphorus-deficient areas, increase the level of development and utilization of low-grade phosphate rock in the northwest, and increase the amount of phosphate rock resources that can be used in the northwestern region.
At the same time, the development of diatomite will also help improve the comprehensive utilization of low-grade diatomite mines in China and increase the technical depth and potential for development and utilization of diatomite products in China. (Wu Zhaoyang Liu Hui)
