Camera selection method

The camera is the core equipment of the entire monitoring system, and the model should be carefully selected according to the site environment and user needs. For the camera products of our company, the following simple instructions on the selection principles of various types of cameras are hoped to help your project:?

1) Choose according to the installation method. For fixed installation, the camera usually chooses ordinary gun-type camera or hemisphere camera; if it uses the pan-tilt installation method, now more integrated cameras are used, such as YAKO's 128x, 220x, and 270x cameras. Small and beautiful, easy to install, excellent cost performance, ordinary gun camera can also be equipped with electric zoom lens, but the price is relatively high, and the installation is not as simple as the integrated camera. ?

2) Choose according to the installation site. Since ordinary gun-type cameras can be wall-mounted or ceiling-mounted, the indoor and outdoor cameras are not limited and are more flexible; while the hemispheric camera can only be installed on the ceiling, so it is mostly used indoors and has a certain installation height. However, compared with the gun-type camera, no additional lens, protective cover and bracket are needed, which is convenient for installation, concealed in appearance, and economical in price. ?

3) Choose according to ambient light. If the light conditions are not ideal, you should try to choose a camera with lower illumination, such as a color ultra-low illumination camera, a color black-and-white automatic conversion dual-purpose camera, a low-illumination black-and-white camera, etc., to achieve better collection results. It should be noted that if the light illuminance is not high and the user has high requirements for the clarity of the surveillance image, a black and white camera should be used. If there is no light, you must add an infrared lamp to provide illumination or choose a camera with infrared night vision, such as YAKO's 668, 968, 868 camera. Its characteristics are: the camera itself has a color black and white conversion mode, ultra-low illumination, and the shape Beautiful, well concealed, and cost-effective. ?

4) Choose according to the requirements of image clarity. If the resolution of the image quality is high, a camera with a high TV line index should be used. Generally speaking, for color cameras, 420 lines are medium resolution cameras, and 470 lines and above are high resolution cameras. The higher the clarity, the higher the price. ?

5) Also pay attention to some performance indicators on the product description. Such as the signal-to-noise ratio, the driving method of the automatic iris lens, etc. The signal-to-noise ratio index of a general TV monitoring system should be greater than 48dB. This not only meets the requirements of not less than 38dB specified by industry standards, but more importantly, when the ambient illumination is insufficient, the camera image with a higher signal-to-noise ratio is clearer . The driving method of the lens is generally selected to be dual-driven, so as to choose an automatic iris lens driven by DC or video. ?

6) In addition, the camera is selected, and installation needs more care. Strictly follow the product manual for correct operation, such as operating temperature, Power Supply voltage, etc. The temperature index of most camera manufacturers is -10 ~ +50 ℃, if the temperature and humidity in the use area change greatly, special protection should be added. Since the domestic AC camera voltage adaption range is generally 200 ~ 240V, the ability to resist power supply voltage changes is weak, and a regulated power supply needs to be added when used in the system.

Wardmay IP Camera(Network Camera) is new generation product which conbines the traditinal camera and the network video technoly, making your home or business become more safe. In addition to the image capture function of the conventional video camera, it also has a digital compression controller and an operating system based on Web. After compression and encryption, the video data is sent to the end user via LAN, internet or wireless network. On the other hand, the remote users can use the standard web browser on the pc, visit the network camera according to the IP address of the network camera, monitor the scene of the target in real time, and edit and store the image data in real time. At the same time, it can also control the head and lens of the camera, and carry out omnidirectional monitoring.
