The International Synthetic Diamond Federation (IGDA) was formally established

In the past few years, the contradiction between synthetic diamonds and natural diamonds has become increasingly prominent, which has caused many problems in the jewelry industry. From birth to today, synthetic diamonds have been considered a major threat to the traditional jewelry industry, in addition to their contribution to industrial production. The International Synthetic Diamond Federation was founded by Vishal Mehta, CEO of the famous synthetic diamond manufacturer IIa Technology. It currently consists of 11 leading companies in the industry. In the founding declaration, the founder proposed: "The founding of the Federation aims to resolve the contradiction between synthetic diamonds and natural diamonds, and to correctly represent the image of synthetic diamonds in the industry with a fair attitude and technical description."
