Shanxi wind power grid installed capacity exceeds 2.0 million kilowatts

On December 15, two wind power plants in Quzhou officially joined the grid for power generation. At this point, the installed capacity of wind power in Shanxi Province has reached 2.025 million kilowatts.

Recently, Shanxi Economic and Information Technology Commission officially approved Guodian Shanxi New Energy Development Co., Ltd. Zuoyu Gaojiabao Electric Power Plant Phase III 33×1.5MW Wind Turbine and Guodian Xinzhou Haifeng Wind Power Generation Co., Ltd. Pinglu District Hutoushan Phase II 33× 1.5MW wind turbines are connected to the grid for power generation. The total dynamic investment of Gaojiabao Electric Power Phase III 33×1.5MW wind turbine units was 40.25 million yuan. It was put into production on December 15, 2012; the total investment of 33×1.5MW wind turbine units in Hutoushan Phase II of Pinglu District was 39.524 million. Yuan, put into production on December 15, 2012.

The grid-connected operation of the two new units brought Shanxi's wind power grid-connected installed capacity to 2.025 million kilowatts.
