The School of Materials held the 2014 “Chuanghui” Awards Scholarship Awarding Ceremony

In order to further implement the comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement between Guangdong Chuanghui Industrial Co., Ltd. and our institute, on October 31st, the School of Materials held the 2014 “Chuanghui” Awards Scholarship Awarding Ceremony in the 4222 Hall. Zhao Jun, deputy general manager of Guangdong Chuanghui Industrial Co., Ltd., party and government leaders of the School of Materials, award-winning teachers and students, and more than 100 student representatives attended the award ceremony. The ceremony was presided over by Ma Wugang, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the Academy.

Dean Zou Wenjun delivered a speech. On behalf of the teachers and students of the college, he expressed warm welcome to the leaders of Guangdong Chuanghui Industrial Co., Ltd., and expressed his heartfelt congratulations to the teachers and students who won the 2014 “Chuanghui” Scholarship. He briefly introduced the progress of the cooperation between industry, academia and research institutes of Guangdong Chuanghui Industrial Co., Ltd. and our institute. He also said that the establishment of the “Chuanghui” award-winning scholarship is an important measure for Chuanghui enterprises to support the development of school education and the cultivation of talents in the college. Young teachers work hard, encourage students to study hard, and promote the discipline construction and quality of education to a new level.
